I bought this product myself and this review is based on my own experience.
I bought this electric height adjustable desk last year because my old desk just wasn’t working for me.
It was quite low, so my knees and legs would regularly bang against it. It also had a drawer underneath, and every time I wanted to open it properly I had to move out of the way.
It sounds like a small annoyance, but when you use a desk regularly, those little things become frustrating very quickly.
I wanted something I could adjust to exactly the height I needed depending on what I was doing.
I use my desk for both work and crafts, so sometimes I want to sit and sometimes I prefer to stand.
I paid around £60, and I’ve been really happy with it.
Being able to change the height makes a big difference
This is the main reason I bought it.
Instead of being stuck with one desk height, I can adjust it to suit what I’m doing.
If I’m sitting down, I can lower it.
If I want to stand, I can raise it.
And if I’m using my walking pad, I can move it higher again so my laptop is at a comfortable level while I’m walking.
That flexibility has made the desk much more practical for me than my previous one.
It works really well with my walking pad
This has probably been one of the biggest benefits.
Because the desk is electric, I can raise it when I want to use the walking pad and lower it again when I’m finished.
That means I don’t need a separate standing desk setup.
I can use the same desk for sitting, standing and walking.
For working-from-home days, that has been really useful.
The electric controls are simple
I didn’t want anything complicated.
The desk has programmable settings, so I can save my preferred heights and move between them using the buttons.
I use the saved heights for the positions I use most often, such as sitting, standing and walking.
Instead of pressing the button and trying to remember the exact height each time, I can just move it back to the position that works for me.
It makes changing between working styles really quick.
The simple design has actually reduced clutter
The desk itself is very simple.
It doesn’t have built-in drawers, which initially might sound like a disadvantage.
But I’ve actually found the opposite.
Because there are no drawers to fill with random things, I keep far less clutter around the desk.
It also means there’s more clear space underneath, which is much more comfortable for my legs.
The clean design suits the room better too.
It works for more than just office work
I don’t only use the desk for my job.
I also use it for crafts, and being able to change the height is really useful for that.
Sometimes standing is simply more comfortable, particularly if I’m working on something where I want to move around or look down at what I’m doing.
That makes it feel much more versatile than a standard fixed desk.
Is there anything I don’t like?
The main thing to be aware of is that it is a fairly simple desk.
There are no built-in drawers or lots of storage.
If you want a desk with lots of integrated storage, this probably isn’t the one for you.
For me, though, that simplicity has actually been a positive because I prefer the extra leg room and less clutter.
Who I think it would suit
I think this desk would be particularly useful for:
- people who work from home
- anyone who likes alternating between sitting and standing
- people using a walking pad
- anyone who finds standard desk heights uncomfortable
- people who want a simple, uncluttered workspace
- anyone who also uses their desk for crafts or hobbies
- people who want an electric standing desk without spending a fortune

My verdict
My old desk technically worked, but it was never particularly comfortable.
It was too low, I kept banging my legs against it, and the drawer underneath just got in the way.
The electric height adjustable desk solved those problems.
I can sit when I want to sit, stand when I want to stand and raise it further when I’m using my walking pad.
It’s simple, clean and very easy to use.
For around £60, I think it has been excellent value.
Would I buy it again? Yes.
